Advertising Rates
Rate Card #7

Note: Advertisements arriving "print ready" as defined in the Materials Requirements section may deduct 15% off of the published rate.
Prepayment discount: 3% for any advertiser in good standing, if full payment is received two weeks before publication date.
Position request: Add 10%.
Frequency discounts: To calculate earned frequency discounts, number of issues or insertions may be used, whichever is greater. Insertions must run in a four-issue (12-month) period, starting with the issue in which the first ad appears. Ad size may change during contract year but cannot be reduced by more than 50% and retain the frequency discount.
Bleed: Only full page ads may bleed.

Vermont Life Online Advertising

On-Line Reader Service: Each print advertiser receives, as part of their ad contract, an on-line reader service program providing contact information from Vermont Life website visitors as well as print magazine readers. This gives the advertisers an online presences on www.VermontLife.com which also provides a direct click-through link to the advertiser's website

All classified advertising requires payment with order.

DISPLAY CLASSIFIEDS:

Display classified ads are sold by the column-inch and may include black and white photos or line art. Columns are 2-1/8 inches wide. Vermont Life will create ad, at no additional charge, from clearly typed copy provided by advertisers. Classified copy and photos or art must be received at Vermont Life by the deadline indicated below to allow for composition and typesetting.

TEXT CLASSIFIEDS:

All classified advertising requires payment with order. Text-only classified ads are sold by the word, with a 10-word minimum. Vermont Life will set type, at no additional charge, from clearly typed copy provided by advertisers. The first few words will be capitalized and in bold face type.

2X rate $4.20

4X rate $4.05

* Pre-payment for the total of all four insertions is required for the 2X and 4X rates, and copy must remain unchanged during the contract run.
