Film about
Vermont
By
John O’Brien
Take one happily married, ultra-successful suburban couple and move them
to a dream house in the hills of Vermont. Introduce George Lyford in the
title role as a crusty old Vermont lister who arrives to assess the house
for tax purposes. From this simple premise evolves John O’Brien’s
wonderful film about friendship found in the unlikeliest of places. Playing
cameo roles are Fred Tuttle (Man With A Plan) and Euclid Farnham (VL Summer
2002.) This movie will make you laugh out loud and shed some tears. It’s
the perfect gift for anyone with a connection to Vermont, from your grandparents
to the children who moved away. Includes some spectacular aerial footage
of the Tunbridge hills in autumn. DVD features deleted scenes, theatrical
trailer and George Lyford jokes. 105 min. (DVD available as part of Tunbridge Trilogy only.)
