State House Staffordshire Plate

Vermont Life salutes the 150th anniversary of the Vermont State House by offering this historic Staffordshire china in both a decorative plate and a trivet. The image of the State House was first engraved on copper in the 1930’s, and these pieces are made from the same engraving and by the same company that has issued them since then. The plate and trivet were created especially for the Friends of the Vermont State House, the private nonprofit that has worked to restore the State House during the past 20 years.

The State House is depicted in the center, Norwich University, the University of Vermont, Middlebury College, the Bennington Battle Monument and President Coolidge’s home circle the edge of the plate. 10¼" diam.

Trivet
The felt-backed trivet with an image of the Statehouse would be lovely on the wall with a plate collection or on a table or bookshelf to complement the decor. 6" diam.
